Remember What G-d has DONE
In a hurry to prepare on the eve of Shabbat supper I'm standing starring at the total of the cashier register
"Remember What G-d has DONE" the consling memory of G-d's Redemptive works. (take notice today's date is 7-7-12) I am led to read Psalm 77.
Psalm 77
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
77 For the leader. For Y’dutun. A psalm of Asaf:
2 I cry aloud to God,
aloud to God; and he hears me.
3 On the day of my distress I am seeking Adonai;
my hands are lifted up;
my tears flow all night without ceasing;
my heart refuses comfort.
4 When remembering God, I moan;
when I ponder, my spirit fails. (Selah)
aloud to God; and he hears me.
3 On the day of my distress I am seeking Adonai;
my hands are lifted up;
my tears flow all night without ceasing;
my heart refuses comfort.
4 When remembering God, I moan;
when I ponder, my spirit fails. (Selah)
5 You hold my eyelids [and keep me from sleeping];
I am too troubled to speak.
6 I think about the days of old,
the years of long ago;
7 in the night I remember my song,
I commune with myself, my spirit inquires:
8 “Will Adonai reject forever?
will he never show his favor again?
9 Has his grace permanently disappeared?
Is his word to all generations done away?
10 Has God forgotten to be compassionate?
Has he in anger withheld his mercy?” (Selah)
11 Then I add, “That’s my weakness —
[supposing] the Most High’s right hand could change.”
I am too troubled to speak.
6 I think about the days of old,
the years of long ago;
12 So I will remind myself of Yah’s doings;
yes, I will remember your wonders of old.
13 I will meditate on your work
and think about what you have done.
yes, I will remember your wonders of old.
13 I will meditate on your work
and think about what you have done.
14 God, your way is in holiness.
What god is as great as God?
What god is as great as God?
15 You are the God who does wonders,
you revealed your strength to the peoples.
16 With your arm you redeemed your people,
the descendants of Ya‘akov and Yosef. (Selah)
you revealed your strength to the peoples.
16 With your arm you redeemed your people,
the descendants of Ya‘akov and Yosef. (Selah)
17 The water saw you, God;
the water saw you and writhed in anguish,
agitated to its depths.
18 The clouds poured water, the skies thundered,
and your arrows flashed here and there.
19 The sound of your thunder was in the whirlwind,
the lightning flashes lit up the world,
the earth trembled and shook.
the water saw you and writhed in anguish,
agitated to its depths.
18 The clouds poured water, the skies thundered,
and your arrows flashed here and there.
19 The sound of your thunder was in the whirlwind,
the lightning flashes lit up the world,
the earth trembled and shook.
20 Your way went through the sea,
your path through the turbulent waters;
but your footsteps could not be traced.
21 You led your people like a flock
under the care of Moshe and Aharon.
your path through the turbulent waters;
but your footsteps could not be traced.
21 You led your people like a flock
under the care of Moshe and Aharon.
I am led to make a numeric formula 100-77=23
So I look up Psalm 23
Psalm 23
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
23 A psalm of David:
Adonai is my shepherd; I lack nothing.
2 He has me lie down in grassy pastures,
he leads me by quiet water,
3 he restores my inner person.
He guides me in right paths
for the sake of his own name.
4 Even if I pass through death-dark ravines,
I will fear no disaster; for you are with me;
your rod and staff reassure me.
2 He has me lie down in grassy pastures,
he leads me by quiet water,
3 he restores my inner person.
He guides me in right paths
for the sake of his own name.
4 Even if I pass through death-dark ravines,
I will fear no disaster; for you are with me;
your rod and staff reassure me.
5 You prepare a table for me,
even as my enemies watch;
you anoint my head with oil
from an overflowing cup.
even as my enemies watch;
you anoint my head with oil
from an overflowing cup.
6 Goodness and grace will pursue me
every day of my life;
and I will live in the house of Adonai
for years and years to come.
every day of my life;
and I will live in the house of Adonai
for years and years to come.
The L-rd the Shepard of His People - As I finish reading Psalm 23, I can't help notice Psalm 24,
The King of Glory and His Kingdom. The
entire Psalm 24 ministers to my heart, but verse 8 is the great
question; "Who is this King;" This is an ancient poem describing the
coming of Yeshua "Jesus"
Psalm 24
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
24 By David. A psalm:
The earth is Adonai’s, with all that is in it,
the world and those who live there;
2 for he set its foundations on the seas
and established it on the rivers.
the world and those who live there;
2 for he set its foundations on the seas
and established it on the rivers.
3 Who may go up to the mountain of Adonai?
Who can stand in his holy place?
4 Those with clean hands and pure hearts,
who don’t make vanities the purpose of their lives
or swear oaths just to deceive.
5 They will receive a blessing from Adonai
and justice from God, who saves them.
6 Such is the character of those who seek him,
of Ya‘akov, who seeks your face. (Selah)

7 Lift up your heads, you gates!
Lift them up, everlasting doors,
so that the glorious king can enter!
8 Who is he, this glorious king?
Adonai, strong and mighty,
Adonai, mighty in battle.
Lift them up, everlasting doors,
so that the glorious king can enter!
8 Who is he, this glorious king?
Adonai, strong and mighty,
Adonai, mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates!

10 Who is he, this glorious king?
Adonai-Tzva’ot —
he is the glorious king. (Selah)

Adonai-Tzva’ot —

As I continue to search for the answer I come across Matthew 21:1-10
Matthew 21:1-10
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
21 As they were approaching Yerushalayim, they came to Beit-Pagei on the Mount of Olives. Yeshua sent two talmidim 2 with
these instructions: “Go into the village ahead of you, and you will
immediately find a donkey tethered there with its colt. Untie them and
bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, tell him, ‘The Lord needs them’; and he will let them go at once.” 4 This happened in order to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet,
5 “Say to the daughter of Tziyon,
‘Look! Your King is coming to you,
riding humbly on a donkey,
and on a colt, the offspring of a beast of burden!’[a]
‘Look! Your King is coming to you,
riding humbly on a donkey,
and on a colt, the offspring of a beast of burden!’[a]
6 So the talmidim went and did as Yeshua had directed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and put their robes on them, and Yeshua sat on them. 8 Crowds of people carpeted the road with their clothing, while others cut branches from trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds ahead of him and behind shouted,
“Please! Deliver us!”[b]
to the Son of David;
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai!”
10 When he entered Yerushalayim, the whole city was stirred. “Who is this?” they asked.
I turn to Revelations 19
Revelation 19
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
19 After these things, I heard what sounded like the roar of a huge crowd in heaven, shouting,
“Halleluyah!
The victory, the glory, the power of our God!
2 For his judgments are true and just.
He has judged the great whore
who corrupted the earth with her whoring.
He has taken vengeance on her
who has the blood of his servants on her hands.”
The victory, the glory, the power of our God!
2 For his judgments are true and just.
He has judged the great whore
who corrupted the earth with her whoring.
He has taken vengeance on her
who has the blood of his servants on her hands.”
3 And a second time they said,
“Halleluyah!
Her smoke goes up forever and ever!”
Her smoke goes up forever and ever!”
4 The twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshipped God, sitting on the throne, and said,
“Amen!
Halleluyah!”
Halleluyah!”
5 A voice went out from the throne, saying,
“Praise our God, all you his servants,
you who fear him, small and great!”
you who fear him, small and great!”
6 Then I heard what sounded like the roar of a huge crowd, like the sound of rushing waters, like loud peals of thunder, saying,
7 “Let us rejoice and be glad!
Let us give him the glory!
For the time has come for the
wedding of the Lamb,
and his Bride has prepared herself —
8 fine linen, bright and clean
has been given her to wear.”
Let us give him the glory!
For the time has come for the
wedding of the Lamb,
and his Bride has prepared herself —
8 fine linen, bright and clean
has been given her to wear.”
(“Fine linen” means the righteous deeds of God’s people.)
9 The
angel said to me, “Write: ‘How blessed are those who have been invited
to the wedding feast of the Lamb!’” Then he added, “These are God’s very
words.” 10 I
fell at his feet to worship him; but he said, “Don’t do that! I’m only a
fellow-servant with you and your brothers who have the testimony of
Yeshua. Worship God! For the testimony of Yeshua is the Spirit of
prophecy.”11 Next I saw heaven opened, and there before me was a white horse. Sitting on it was the one called Faithful and True, and it is in righteousness that he passes judgment and goes to battle. 12 His eyes were like a fiery flame, and on his head were many royal crowns. And he had a name written which no one knew but himself. 13 He was wearing a robe that had been soaked in blood, and the name by which he is called is, “THE WORD OF GOD.” 14 The armies of heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 And out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down nations — “He will rule them with a staff of iron.”[b] It is he who treads the winepress from which flows the wine of the furious rage of Adonai, God of heaven’s armies. 16 And on his robe and on his thigh he has a name written:
KING OF KINGS
AND
LORD OF LORDS.
17 Then
I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice to
all the birds that fly about in mid-heaven, “Come, gather together for
the great feast God is giving, 18 to
eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of generals, the flesh of important
men, the flesh of horses and their riders and the flesh of all kinds of
people, free and slave, small and great!” 19 I
saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered
together to do battle with the rider of the horse and his army. 20 But
the beast was taken captive, and with it the false prophet who, in its
presence, had done the miracles which he had used to deceive those who
had received the mark of the beast and those who had worshipped his
image. The beast and the false prophet were both thrown alive into the
lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 21 The
rest were killed with the sword that goes out of the mouth of the rider
on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
Verse 4 speaks of the 24 Elders, which leads me back to the ancient Psalm 24 that captured my attention,
"Who is this King"
So back to the question the L-rd pounded in my heart to search,
Remember What G-d has DONE!
What a beautiful way to remember what G-d has done for me.
Bless the L-rd Oh' my soul Psalm 103.
Shabbat Shalom to my dear friend, Myra who sent me this question by David Wilkerson.
